I just bought this book, and just on the second chapter. It is hard to go on because the editing is horrible. I can deal with misspelled words, but no periods is ridiculous. Periods are a vital part of sentence structure. Anjela, I have all of your books, and I love the Sacario storyline. Please get another editor, I will edit it for free. I just published my debut novel "Noir Passion", by Renauta; which I edited myself. I just hate when a great story goes bad, because of grammer issues.Product details

Great storytelling. However the story telling was written very poorly. My GOD so many typos and mistakes, missing words distracted from the story. Please watch out for typos and errors. This will only enhance your work.
The grammar in this book was horrible. I found myself making corrections the whole book. The story line was good, but some parts jumped way off and had me like "what?" The same thing went for all parts of Hard and She Fell in Love with a Thug
Editing, editing, editing is very important, that's all I will say about that. Overall the book was okay it gave some insight about Sacario's life. Now I'm ready to read Hard 3 can't wait to find out what happens next. Don't pass this series up you won't be disappointed.
Frustrating is all I can really say. This could've been a really good story but once again it was all over the place. Not to mention the editing is devastating to say the least. I really hope the author can get it together because if not I won't be spending a dime on another one.
I read this book in one and a half days it was a page Turner I gave it four stars cause of the bad grammar but other than that I enjoyed the story I would highly recommend it and if u haven't read 1-3 I suggest you get those two cause they are just as good keep up the good work ms day looking forward to reading more stories from you.
Definitely 5 star book! I have already finished the Hard series all 4 books were amazing. I found this book a few days after I finished all 4 hard books. I'm so glad I found this. I didn't want the Hard story to end. If you haven't read hard then this book isn't going to make much sense. I'm glad I got to learn more from where sacario came from and what he went through it helps you understand why he's the way he is. I hope Anjela Day has a book for Ali and Denerio also! I just started on duces story I'm so glad she made more books going off the Hard series. Hands down the best books I've ever read! Anjela Day does her thing! I can't wait to read more from her!
This novella was the prequel to Hard. It was telling Sacario's story of him and his brother's upbringing and how the entered the drug game. Anjela Day had a good idea, BUT whom every your editor is, please fire them. The editing was horrible. Honestly I found multiple grammatical errors per page and the flow of the book as a little off. I think with the proper adjustments it'll be better. I gave the book two Stars, because it had potential to be a great book if the grammatical errors and book structure/flow are fixed it'll be a 4-5 star. On a brighter note, I liked the Hard series and I cannot wait for part 3.
